Research Committee members form the analytical backbone of our Undergraduate Law Journal, taking on the most substantial time commitment of any committee. Each academic year, our team of 10+ dedicated researchers tackles one pressing legal topic through intensive collaborative research and analysis. Members break into specialized subgroups to conduct thorough legal research, analyze emerging trends, and propose innovative solutions to complex legal challenges.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, our research focus is on Artificial Intelligence's implications in healthcare, examining crucial questions like medical liability in AI-assisted diagnoses, patient data privacy, regulatory
frameworks for AI medical devices, and equitable access to AI healthcare technologies. As a Research Committee member, you'll develop advanced legal research skills, gain expertise in cutting-edge legal issues, and contribute to meaningful policy discussions. Your work will culminate in comprehensive research papers that propose practical solutions to emerging legal challenges in the healthcare-AI intersection.
