Sabrina Soto

Founder & President

I'm a junior at Case Western Reserve University from Chicago, double majoring in Political Science and Psychology. As a founding member of the CWRU Undergraduate Law Journal, I'm passionate about exploring the intersection of law and policy and how they shape our communities.

My interest lies in understanding how legal frameworks and policy decisions impact real people's lives, particularly in areas like criminal justice reform. Through my studies, I've developed a deep appreciation for the complexities of our legal system and the importance of research-driven policy solutions. When I'm not working on the law journal, I'm also a member of the undergraduate mock trial team. I enjoy connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and learning about different perspectives that inform how we approach justice and governance.

Tolga Feran

VP of Finance

I'm a rising junior from Turkey, majoring in Civil Engineering with a secondary major in Political Science. I'm fascinated by everything about the construction industry and its role in shaping our world. My academic, extracurricular, and professional experiences have fueled my interest in how financing and policy constraints impact public construction projects.

I want to continue learning and contributing to the development of infrastructure projects that improve all of our lives. Whether it's through hands-on engineering roles, leadership in student organizations, or exploring the intersection of engineering, finance, and policy, I am committed to contributing to a future that is efficient, sustainable, and innovative.

I'm a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics. I've wanted to be a lawyer since I was a kid, and after pursuing mechanical engineering and working in research labs, I realized how much I enjoyed seeing new ideas come to life. I want to be on the forefront of new innovations, working with business and inventors to protect their ideas and bring them into the world.
